The first shipment of cargo in railway containers was carried from Kunming to Nansha via East-bound passage, these railway containers were loaded on board of SITC vessel at Nanshan on 15th, Jul, 2019, which means railway container for overseas business of SITC International holding has been formally started. As the responding for national strategy of “One Belt, One Road”, this is also the important achievement of strategic cooperation between SITC International holding and CRCT. Leaders and representatives of China Railway Guangzhou Group Co., Ltd, Guangzhou Port Company Limited，China Tobacco Yunnan Imp.& Exp. Co., Ltd.and Yunnan Yunhui Transport Service Co.,Ltd participated in the ceremony together.
Taking the advantage of intensive shipping routes of SITC and large scale of railway network, numerous railway container stations and adequate railway container capacity, SITC International holding will make great efforts to develop intermodal transportations using railway containers, rendering high quality of intermodal transportation services for customers!
