THE FIFTH MINI MBA SHIPPING orIENTATION TRAINING CLASS OF SHANGHAI MARITIME UNIVERSITY WAS SUCCESSFULLY OPENED

On November 9, 2022, the fifth Mini MBA shipping orientation training class of Shanghai Maritime University was held in SITC International Academic Exchange Center of Shanghai Maritime University. Li Zhipeng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shanghai Maritime University, Wu Xianhua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the School of Economics and Management, Sha Mei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the School of Transportation, Chen Jia’er, Deputy Director of the President’s Office, Secretary General of the University Foundation, and Yang Fangmei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Transportation; Yang Xianxiang, Vice Chairman and CEO of the Board of Directors, Xue Mingyuan, Executive Director of SITC International, President of Shipping Group, Lai Zhiyong, Executive Director of SITC International, President of Logistics Group, Tian Mingyuan, General Manager of SITC Ship Management, Li Faqiang, General Manager of SITC Line Operation Center, and 35 students from Shanghai Maritime University attended the opening ceremony.
At the opening ceremony, Vice President Li Zhipeng and CEO Yang delivered speeches respectively. Vice President Li Zhipeng expressed his recognition of the talent training class and encouraged students to join the shipping industry. He also expressed his expectation that SITC class students can understand the shipping profession and apply their knowledge in the orientation class. CEO Yang thanked Maritime University for its support to SITC Group under the epidemic, and affirmed that SITC Group provided high-quality shipping talents. It emphasizes that talent cultivation and the values of SITC PSVD complement each other, and SITC will continue to devote itself to talent cultivation. I hope the students in the training class can gain something.
In the future, SITC International and Shanghai Maritime University will continue to carry out cooperation from multiple angles and in all aspects, explore a new mode of training shipping talents, and jointly cultivate a number of excellent shipping talents, contributing to the construction of a shipping power.
