The opening ceremony of SITC International Academic Exchange Center was successfully held

On 8th May 2021, the opening ceremony of SITC International Academic Exchange Center was successfully held at Shanghai Maritime University. Song Baoru, Secretary of the Party Committee for Shanghai Maritime University, Lu Jing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President for Shanghai Maritime University, Yang Liping, Secretary of the Party Committee for the Economics and Management School, Liu Bin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean for the School of Economics and Management, Chen Jiaer, deputy director of the president’s office and deputy director of the alumni liaison office Yang Xianxiang, Vice Chairman and CEO of SITC International, and Xue Mingyuan, President of SITC Shipping Group, attended the opening ceremony, to witness the opening of the first phase of “SITC International Exchange Center” of Shanghai Maritime University. The opening of “SITC International Academic Exchange Center” marks a new level of cooperation between SITC International and Shanghai Maritime University. At the opening ceremony, Secretary Song Baoru and CEO Yang Xianxiang delivered speeches respectively.
After the opening ceremony, SITC International’s senior management, Shanghai Maritime University Alumni Association Vice Chairman and Chairman of Supervisors, Shanghai Maritime University leaders, and 35 student representatives conducted Dialogue “Talking about the Dreams and Realizing the Chinese Dream” with industry leaders on the theme in the SITC International Lecture Hall of Shanghai Maritime University.
For a long time, SITC International has actively devoted itself to the cause of social responsibility and has done what it can to repay the society. SITC International has been in close contact with Shanghai Maritime University to carry out cooperation in personnel training, scientific research, industry interoperability, resource sharing, etc. School and enterprise jointly constructs and mutually benefits, so as to maximize the effect of collaborative education.
